Registered Massage Therapy

  • Swedish Massage

    • Our most popular therapeutic massage type, the light to medium pressure helps relieve stress, reduce pain, boost mood and promote relaxation.

  • Relaxation Massage

    • Comparable to Swedish massage, with lighter pressure and is meant for a more peaceful, de-stressing, calming type of treatment.

  • Deep Tissue Massage

    • Similar to Swedish massage, but the technique focuses on the deepest layer of muscles to target knots (trigger points) and release chronic muscle tension.

  • Pregnancy Massage (Pre-Natal)

    • Pre-Natal massage with the use of a certified pregnancy pillow safe to be treated during all trimesters of pregnancy.

  • Thermal Palms (soft alternative to hot stone)

    • Are a great alternative to hot stone massage. They are soft hand-held heat modalities filled with rolled oats which provide long lasting heat as they cushion and protect bone during massage.

  • Cupping Therapy

    • Brittany is certified in cupping therapy. Cupping is a safe treatment that uses suction that helps lift and release connective tissue restrictions and adhesions. Cupping can be very effective in increasing someone’s range of motion. It is a great form of myofascial release providing great results. The suction of the cups brings blood flow to the area that has been stagnant. In doing so this helps engage the nervous system.

Physiotherapy

  • Our Physiotherapist is experienced and skilled at acupuncture, training in 2004 and now travelling to teach for Acupuncture Canada. He is an enthusiastic adherent to the benefits of Neuro-Proprioceptive taping (kinesio-taping), and an unabashed champion of magnesium supplementation as an adjunct treatment in physiotherapy. A lifelong student, Neil is currently a member of the Ontario and Canadian Physiotherapy Associations.
